Twywell Parish Council is funded by precept from North Northamptonshire Council. Twywell Parish Council has financial responsibilities, the main ones being – our Clerk’s salary, streetlighting, insurance, allotments, maintenance and repairs of village assets.  We are governed by Financial Regulations and other policies to ensure that the public funds we administer are held safely and spent wisely, in accordance with the law.

 

Council Budget and Precept 2025 / 2026

The budget for the financial year from the 1st April 2025 to the 31st March 2026 was prepared by the Parish Council and ratified in January 2025.  As a result of the budget, a Precept demand for £16,743.00 was made on North Northamptonshire Council.  Information can be found under tabs within finance.

Financial Regulations

The rules for how Twywell  Parish Council manages its finances are set down in our Financial Regulations.  Twywell Parish Council Financial Regulations are reviewed regularly and agreed by the whole council.
