A14 - J13 (Eastbound)

NOTIFICATION OF WORKS A14 Eastbound Junction 13

I’m writing to let you know that we’ll be carrying out essential Embankment works on the A14 approximately 250m from the start of the eastbound exit slip road at Junction 13.

During our scheme of work we’ll:

• Strengthen and stable the embankment on the eastbound verge to help with stability and allow free draining of surface water.

• Replace drainage system.

• Carry out vegetation works.

Work is due to start on 2nd September 2024 and is scheduled for completion by mid October 2024. Please note that all our planned roadworks may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

To keep our programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses and road users, we’ll work under a full eastbound carriageway closure between Junctions 12 and 13 from 8pm.  During these closures a fully signed diversion route will be in place, which has been agreed with the Local Authority.

We’ll make sure that access to businesses and residences is maintained wherever possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum.
